Topic: CPR - AED CERTIFICATION

Courses on cardiopulmonary resuscitation provide the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children, and babies depending on the level of CPR chosen. CPR AED Certification provides you with the knowledge and practical skills to be able to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use an automated external defibrillator (AED).

Certification courses meet legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and include the latest CPR guidelines and training in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).

    CPR A Blended: 3 hours online learning + 2 hours in-class

    CPR C Blended: 3 hours online learning + 3 hours in-class


    Certification

    3-year certification in CPR Level A or C (digital certificate issued upon successful completion)

    Recertification

    Recertification only applies one time. Individuals in possession of an existing recertification certificate are required to take the full Standard First Aid Level C course.

    • Attendance and participation are essential for the full session.

    • Along with a written multiple-choice test, participants are assessed on their proficiency in first aid and CPR during the course.

    Accessing your Certification

    You will get an email from Red Cross inviting you to obtain your permanent and official certification card three to four business days following your training. You may retrieve your certification through My Red Cross and print or reprint it in wall or pocket card size. In case you have any trouble locating your certification, kindly get in touch with us.
